Halloween: The Game's next content update is scheduled for October 27, 2026. Tower Farm is a free multiplayer map for game owners. Optional purchases include two Michael skins at $9.99 each, the Michelle and Eugene Civilian pack at $9.99 for both, and Costume Pack 1 at $9.99. You do not need those DLC purchases to receive the map.
The date and prices come from IllFonic's October 5 announcement. The October 13 map tour and October 15 character introduction add the details below. This content is upcoming; Patch 1.1.1 is the crash-fix update already released on October 16.
What is free, and what costs extra?
| Content | Announced price, USD | What you receive |
|---|---|---|
| Tower Farm | Free for owners | The fifth multiplayer map, inspired by Halloween 5 |
| Halloween 5 Michael | $9.99 | A Michael appearance based on The Revenge of Michael Myers |
| Halloween (2018) Michael | $9.99 | A separate Michael appearance based on the 2018 film |
| Civilian Characters Pack | $9.99 for both | Michelle and Eugene as playable Civilians |
| Civilian Costumes Pack 1 | $9.99 | 14 outfits, one per character, with 42 tints |
| Features, fixes, and quality-of-life changes | Free | The announcement lists these separately from paid DLC |
The two Michaels are skins, while Michelle and Eugene are Civilian characters. Choose a skin for its film appearance; choose the Civilian pack if you want the additional roster options. A skin purchase is not a prerequisite for the Halloween 5-inspired map.
How much should you budget?
Use this comparison to match the purchase to the part of the update you want. The totals below are our arithmetic from the announced prices, excluding the base game, local pricing, and taxes.
| Your goal | Optional DLC budget |
|---|---|
| Play Tower Farm with your existing characters | $0 |
| Get one of the two Michael appearances | $9.99 |
| Get both Michael appearances | $19.98 |
| Add Michelle and Eugene | $9.99 |
| Get the outfit pack | $9.99 |
| Get all four paid products | $39.96 |
If you only want more maps, update when Tower Farm becomes available. If you want a new Civilian role, compare the now-announced triggers: Eugene's Lurker improves recovery in bushes; Michelle's Therapeutic shares healing-item recovery with nearby players. Our character comparison explains which team routine suits each, based on the October 15 introduction.
Before checkout, match the DLC to the platform and account where you own the game. Review the actual product contents and any edition entitlement shown there. The announcement's USD price list is a comparison aid; your regional checkout determines the amount charged.
What does Tower Farm look like?
Tower Farm replaces suburban streets with a rural setting. The official preview identifies a filling station, cornfields, farm buildings, a harvest festival, a trailer park, and pumpkin gardens.
Recognize Tower Farm before release
Watch for the filling station, open roads, fields, and farm buildings. Use these landmarks to learn the setting before your first match.
Our preparation advice is to recognize transitions, rather than memorize a route from the trailer: a building to an open road, a field to a farmyard, or a roadside landmark to the next sheltered space. This gives you a vocabulary for the first match without mistaking preview footage for an exit-location map.
| Preview landmark | What to recognize |
|---|---|
| Filling station | A distinctive reference for finding your bearings |
| Roads and cornfields | The boundary between open movement and nearby terrain |
| Farmhouses, barns, and sheds | Separate structures you can name when planning a regroup |
| Festival, trailer park, and pumpkin gardens | Different areas to distinguish in team calls |
The October 13 Tower Farm tour adds irrigation structures, historic barns containing farming tools, and the trailer park's laundromat and convenience store. Use those distinctive names to keep the first search organized:
| Preview area | First-match assignment |
|---|---|
| Farm buildings and barns | Name the building you enter so a teammate searches another one |
| Fields and irrigation structures | Identify the next visible structure before crossing an open section |
| Trailer park | Distinguish the laundromat from the convenience store in a call; report the actual usable interaction |
This is an orientation plan derived from the announced setting, not a spawn map. A barn full of farming tools in the preview does not establish a guaranteed weapon pickup. Confirm exits, item prompts, and traversable paths in the released map before committing the team.
When can you play, and what should you do first?
October 27 is the announced date. Check the game's update and your platform's store on that date for availability; the October 5 post does not establish a launch hour to convert into a local time.
For your first Tower Farm match:
- Find your starting landmark and locate yourself on the in-game map.
- Identify an actual escape interaction before sending the group toward it.
- Read the exit's requirement and capacity, then assign the item carrier.
- Choose the place you will regroup if Michael interrupts the interaction.
These steps apply the current escape rules to an unfamiliar map. While waiting, use the Civilian combat guide to practice turning defensive actions into time for an objective.
Source and update status
The October 19 source review covers the three linked official announcements. Price totals are calculations, and the orientation assignments are our preparation advice. Tower Farm routes and DLC traits have not been tested by this wiki in the game.
